Latin Night
Sunday 18th Sept, 2012
Sponsored by
Latin Dance Australia

On Sunday 18th September, the Australian Dance Festival will host the spectacular Latin Dance Australia Annual Ball featuring all styles of Latin Dance from Salsa, Samba, Zouk, Bachata and Reggaeton.  If you love Latin Dance, you won't want to miss out on this incredible night, created by Latin Dance Australia.

What is the annual LDA Ball?

The annual LDA Ball is held in honour of LDA's beloved dance students and is a tribute to the passion and effort they have put into both LDA and Latin Dance culture in Sydney throughout the year.

The Ball was created to showcase the many talents of our students whom we have seen grow over the years in skill and passion for the many different styles of Latin Dance.
In tribute hard work and talent, our instructors choreograph specific routines if different dance styles and levels which are then taught to our students so they can perform and be the STARS of the night.

“The 2011 LDA Ball witnessed 200 PERFORMERS from Latin Dance Australia make their dreams come true and perform for a FULL HOUSE at SYDNEY TOWN HALL with over 1,100 people applauding, screaming for and enjoying 21 spectacular shows.
It is impossible to explain the emotion, passion, energy and happiness felt right throughout the night, starting at the shows right through to end of the party..
As an owner of LDA, I simply cannot thank our students and instructors enough for all their amazing work in turning the 2011 LDA BALL into one of the best Dance school events in the world!!!” – Jaime Jesus (Director)

ADF Breaks the Guinness World Record!
On September 4th, 2010, The Australian Dance Festival broke the World Record for the Largest Song & Dance Routine! (Officially recognised the Guinness World Records!)

As Jason Coleman is the Patron of the  Australian Dance Festival, and also choreographer for the "Hairspray, The Musical", it was only fitting that the world record should be "The World's Largest Number of Dancers Doing a Hairspray Choreography", led by Jason Coleman himself!  >>learn more
