| Catching Up With Loredo from 2009's So You Think You Can Dance
| Jamaican native Loredo Malcolm was one of the favourites to win the 2009 season of So You Think You Can Dance. He wowed us at the 2009 Australian Dance Festival with his African Contemporary performance, as well as a knock out workshop. Loredo will be back at the 2010 Australian Dance Festival, as both a performer and an instructor.
Loredo Malcolm started training at the age of nine at Ashe Caribbean Performing Arts in Jamaica. He moved to New York to pursue further dance training, graduating with his certificate in dance and performing arts. Loredo then understudied the role of Simba in Disney's The Lion King for four years touring Australia, Shanghai, and London's West End.
In 2009 Loredo made it into the Top 9 dancers on television’s So You Think You Can Dance. He recently opened his Contemporary Company LOcREaDO Dance Company.
