Online and Over the Phone Registrations will Close TODAY (Wednesday) at 5pm sharp!
| Wow! It's finally September and the CLEAN & CLEAR® Australian Dance Festival will be here in just a matter of days! Things are heating up, and the office has been innundated with phone calls and registrations! If you can't get through to us and you're trying to make a booking, please try booking online as it will save you time!
As we have to move the CLEAN & CLEAR® Australian Dance Festival into Sydney Town Hall on Friday, we have to close our online sales , fax and phone registrations TODAY (Wednesday 1st Sept) at 5pm sharp. If we receive your fax after 5pm today, we will not be able to process it - so please note that unless the money has come off your credit card AND you have received a tax invoice from us, you haven't actually been registered!
If you miss the deadline, don't worry as you will still be able to purchase tickets on Saturday & Sunday at Sydney Town Hall. However, today will be your last chance to purchase Saturday & Sunday evening show tickets at $40 for adults. The price at the door will be $45. Concession tickets ($25) will remain the same.

Loads of Free & Fun Activities as we
Celebrate the Australia's Multicultural Dance Community
|  There's heaps of free and fun activities at the 2010 CLEAN & CLEAR® Australian Dance Festival this weekend (4th – 5th September). Just head down to Sydney Square (next to Sydney Town Hall). If you're an early bird, you might want to witness or even participate in our attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the Largest Song & Dance Routine led by Jason Coleman at 8.30am. (Registations from 7.30am)
There will be free Capoeira (Brazilian Martial Arts / Dance) demonstrations at 9.30am, followed by Chinese dancing. From 10am, there will be street Latin parties showcasing Argentine Tango, Salsa and Zouk Lambada.
If you love Dirty Dancing the movie, then you won’t want to miss watching Sydney’s Latin Dance Community strut their stuff – and feel free to join in too!
From 1pm – 6pm, watch the best hip hop soloists and crews battle it out in the Ed Hardy Street Style Battle. All these activities are free to attend! To plan your day, check out the Official Program !
| Updates on Jason Coleman's Hairspray Choreography, Our World Record Attempt & Fundraising for Youth Off The Streets

 We've heard back from the Guinness Book World of Records, and we need 500 people to break the World Record for the Largest Song & Dance Routine! So far, over 300 people have registered to take part in a Hairspray Song & Dance choreographed by Jason Coleman. We still need 200 more people to be there! Please join us so that we can immortalize the Australian Dance Community in the Guinness Book World of Records!
For everyone who has registered to participate, please note that we have to SING as well as dance the routine for 3 minutes! We have posted up the lyrics on our website, and we will also have it projected on a really big screen for you, so you won't have to memorise the words, but you need to know that you have to sing (even if you can't!).
The media has been interested in our world record and Jason has been interviewed by 96.1FM, and also Kyle & Jackie O on 104.1 2day FM. We've also had a photo shoot with the Daily Telegraph and this should come out on Wednesday! This Friday, Jason will also be on the 7pm Project on Channel 10, so make sure you catch it!

Meet The Stars from Dance Academy, So You Think You Can Dance &
Dancing With The Stars at Our Expo!
|  Breaking News! Xenia Goodwin & Jordan Rodriguez from ABC's Dance Academy will be at the CLEAN & CLEAR® Australian Dance Festival booth for photo opportunities and autographs!
They will join SYTYCD celebrities: Jason Coleman, Phillipe Witana, Don Napalan, Talia Fowler, Timomatic, Rhiannon, BJ Rorke & Stephen Tannos, as well as Luda Kroitor & Csaba Szirmai from Dancing with the Stars.
Xenia (center of the photo) will be at the booth from 4pm - 6pm on Saturday, and Jordan (Left from Xenia) from 4pm - 6pm on Sunday. To see what time the other celebs are on, check the Official Program!
To have your photo taken with your favourite Dance celebrities, you need to enter the expo component of the event. You enter the expo via the Druitt St entrance of Town Hall. Cost of entry is $15 (free for 5s and under). Pick up a flyer from one of the Australian Dance Festival volunteers in Sydney Square, and you get a Buy One Get One Free entry into the expo as well!

Talia Fowler to Present Trophy to
Dance Around The World Solo Competition Winner
|  Talia Fowler is someone who knows all about winning, having taken out the 2009 season of So You Think You Can Dance, as well as the role of lead dancer in Fame, The Musical! Talia will be at the CLEAN & CLEAR® Australian Dance Festival all weekend, performing, meeting her fans as well as presenting the trophy to the winner of the first ever Dance Around The World Solo Competition.
So far, 37 dancers have registered to compete in the competition, and we can't wait to see who's going to take out the first prize of Return airfares to Los Angeles & 40 classes at the Edge Performing Arts Center in L.A. It's not too late to enter the competition either! If "you think you can dance" make sure you check out the competition details 2nd and 3rd place winners will not walk away empty handed either! Anthony Kay & Associates who are bringing out Complexions Dance Company from New York have donated 2 x Double passes to the 2nd and 3rd place winners.
If you're feeling envious about the 2nd & 3rd place winners getting to see Complexions Dance Company then make sure you pick up a free $15 discount voucher at the CLEAN & CLEAR® Australian Dance Festival.
