Sydney - Latin Dance Australia

Born and raised in Australia, Sandra’s love for performing has also encompassed an ardent love for dance. She has been performing, teaching and choreographing for nearly a decade at Latin Dance Australia where she has received inumerous awards. Recently at the 2011 LDA Ball she was awarded ‘Best Choreographer of the Year" and ‘Outstanding Contribution to LDA".

With a passion for dance and an impressive array of skills, she lights up the stage with her infectious smile and captivating performances. Sandra loves the challenges of choreographing and has choreographed a variety of Samba routines over the years.  She also choreographed the Latin Dance Australia Samba Professional team choreography debuting it at the Sydney Salsa Congress and which the team also took to the Korean ‘Gangnam International Dance Festival to compete against some of the best international teams around the world and placed 9th overall.

   
  

Graziela Oborn
Brazil/ New Zealand - Viva Latino

Graziela is an international samba instructor & performer from Brazil. She has been performing and teaching samba for 12 years and is one of the most recognisable and sought-after international Samba dancers in Australiasia.

Her outstanding performances have taken her abroad when she represented Australia in Singapore in 2003 and to interstate performances in the Perth Latin Fiesta, Latin Extravaganza in Adelaide and Latin Festival in Griffiths.
Graziela together with Marcia Pinheiro Percival have developed the BEST SELLER and first ever Samba Instructional DVD including a very detailed Samba Methodology for beginners and Intermediate level

Currently living in New Zealand Graziela joined Viva Latino. She choreographed the Viva Latino Samba team's performance piece, which was presented at the NZ Pacific Salsa Congress. After the Congress the team was invited to show their performance piece at the Brazil Central Congress in Brisbane this October.

 
   
 
Amy Mills 
USA / Sydney - Latin Dance Australia
Amy is one of the finest, most respected & versatile performers in Australia!   She has come to be known as the Samba Queen of Sydney!
As well as teaching & performing Samba, Lambada, Gafieira, Brazilian Fitness, Zumba, Salsa, Cha Cha, Bachata & Dance Aerobics, her experience extends to Traditional Ukrainian Folk Dance (Folk Ballet), Hip-Hop, Musical Theatre, Podium & Character Podium work, Ballroom, Belly Dance (Egyptian), Break Dance, Jazz, & Cheerleading!
She was voted Best Dancer of 2003 by the city of Eugene! In addition to her experience on the stage she is involved in the Bollywood film industry and is a featured performer in a movie which was released 2005.

Amy’s performance experience is not limited to dance and film; it also includes Opera (Singing formal training), Chamber Music, Jazz (vocal), Gospel, Musical Theatre, Blues & Rock Opera. Majoring in music she was awarded numerous talent scholarships including LCC’s Triple Threat Award for 2002 and earned positive recognition and support from highly respected instructors. 
Since 2006 she has received numerous awarded from Latin Dance Australia as Best Choreographer, Best Teacher, Best Performer of the Year .

In 2010, Amy Mills won the title of best female in the Australian Salsa Solo Competition and  every year you can see Amy as a performer/choreographer for the Sydney Salsa Congress now known as the Sydney Latin Festival.
   
 
Cristina Ramon
Brazil / Sydney - Viva Brazil

Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Cristina is the Queen of Brazillian Samba. She started dancing at the age of 6 and at the age of 15, she was already a professional dancer performing on the island of Martinique, Japan, India and Philippines.

Throughout the past 15 years Cristina has performed at various Major events such as the Australian MTV awards, Dance Coroboree, Australian Salsa Championships and Jambalaya Festival (NZ).   She is responsible for influencing and teaching many of the professional Samba dancers around Australia today and currently teaches Samba and Personal Training at Latin Motion, Salsa Republic, Dance Central and FITNESS FIRST throughout Sydney. She has been known as Australia's Samba Queen.

Cristina has lived in Australia for over 15 years and was recognized as the best Latin female performer at The People’s Choice Award in 2000 In 2004 she performed in the award winning production LION KING.

   
  Silvi Pereira Milans
Brazil/ Adelaide - Danca Brazil

Silvi is the first Brazilian Dance Style Choreographer, Instructor and Performer in South Australia. She has been educating and promoting the Brazilian Culture, Dance, and Music throughout South Australia & Australia for over 13 years.

Dancing since the age of 12, Silvi is an experienced dancer who has developed a unique style blending her Brazilian background in Samba, Axe’, Zouk Lambada, Forro’ & Portuguese Folkloric Dance to other dance styles such as: R&B, HipHop, House, Dance, Salsa, Merengue, Bachata and Reggaeton. At the age of 18 she became a Professional Dancer performing both in SA and nationally with various dance/talent agents and groups. Renowned for her fun & vibrant classes, she also loves to perform and is the choreographer for her current performance group, Danca Brasil!

Silvi co-founded Brazil Dance Academy in Adelaide in 2006 and since has successfully built many performance teams and groups including building her own Authentic Brazilian shows.

Silvi is currently the lead Samba Instructor & exclusively teaches for Latino Grooves, her team Danca Brazil has placed 2nd place twice 2011 at the Australia Salsa Solo Competition in the “Open Latin Division” & most recently in SA @ the Tropicana Street Latin Dance Competition in the “Open Latin Division”.
